The Tribal Aesthetics – MANNGAI NEMDAKLY

I am me, I am from the North-east
They call me adivasi, I call myself tribal
Colour and flavour are my valour
I am proud, and I am potent
But of my shade and folklore

Nacromancy and lycantropy is my history
To many worlds, it’s still a mystery
The song of hills and rainbow smile
It’s the essence of my existance.

I am different, I am bright
Perhaps it will take you to my sight
The land of chiefs and trumpets roar,
Upon which the ladies rock their bodies.
They say its dark, they say it is less known,
But I see not in any form
Tales and myths on my granny’s lap
Will enchant and make your mental break.

I am tiger, I am boar, I am furious
I am a sheep of blissfullness
Mountains and rivers, I have climbed
With song that breaks the bird’s chime
Come with me to this unknown land
For you have only seen the retro-physics
Let me take you to wonder and hover around your mental blunder
I am blind, but I am kind
Sneak into my world’s chamber
You will see myriads of wonder.
